The Hermitage maintains a complete way of life and has a little chapel dedicated to the

work of prayer - so essential to the well being of the World.

Here, the Eucharist is celebrated, and both Sufi and Christian contemplative practice are integrated.

This fundamental work of prayer involving regular vigil and the emptying of the heart of everything other than God, requires self discipline, devotion and commitment.

Waiting upon God in the silence of deep contemplation, the fruit of this work is shared with the wider community through the occasional composition of musical works, which seek to expound upon the deeper mysteries behind the liturgical year.

In addition, participation in the chanting of the Divine Names and the Name of Jesus has been well received by local people.
